Los componentes de hierro utilizados en mis piezas las encontré enterradas en el jardín de la casa en la que vivo.
Cuando mi abuelo y su padre llegaron a Argentina desde Italia, a comienzos de siglo 20, se establecieron en este predio, construyeron la casa, criaron y trabajaron con caballos.
Las piezas de metal que he integrado en mis composiciones son partes de bridas y carros que utilizaban para realizar su trabajo.
Explorar la memoria de mi familia, uniendo pasado y presente, me permitió crear estas piezas.

The iron components of my work are found items, unearthed in my home’s yard.
My grandfather and his father came to Argentina in the early 20° century, having traveled from Italy, and settled on this stretch of land. They built the house that still stands there, raised and worked with horses.
The metal pieces that I have integrated into my compositions are relics of bridles and carts they once used to go about their labour.
By exploring my ancestral memory and incorporating personally significant historical references, I have attempted to unify past and present together.
